St Georges Heights, Redfield, Bristol
St Georges Heights is a £2m development that has taken
place on the site of a former church which had fallen into
a state of dereliction.
Shortly after purchasing the site on Church Road, PG Enterprises appointed architects
and obtained planning consent to build 17 one and two bedroom apartments
along with two ground floor retail units.
The development makes use of the architectural heritage of the site and
the building has a podium constructed in stonework that is in keeping
with the local area and in particular matches the remaining Bethesda
church hall across the road.
The ground floor retail units are now occupied by the St Patrick’s
Church Charity Shop, the church’s secretariat has moved in next door to allow
the Church to establish a high street presence.
The building is rapidly becoming a local landmark and all the apartments
have been sold.
